Inmarsat POP

Data Center for BGAN - FBB - GSPS - M2M - SBB - GX - JX - G2X - FX

Data POP for Inmarsat GX services

Inmarsat GX services cover Inmarsat JX, LX, FleetXpress, Enterprise Gx / G2X, Government GX, Aero Business and Aero commercial. All do need a data POP environment to process data traffic to and from Internet.

IP management

IP assignment in the terminal is managed from our satellite business environment that manage IP addresses and ranges across the up to 32 terminal ports – associated IP mapping will need to be intelligently handled in the POP environment – but no radius servers are needed as in Inmarsat I4.

Inmarsat GX Terminal Firewall

Firewall are handled globally as well as for each single terminal based on the assigned IP addresses – and full self care are available – allowing end users to manage own security policies.

Assurance Data

Terminal Assurance Data are captured and inserted into Elasticsearch – and made available for download, as well as in front end interfaces of through tools like Kibana and Grafana.

Data POP for Inmarsat I4 services

Inmarsat I4 services cover BGAN, GSPS, FBB, LINK, SBB, M2M, all services based on standard GSM for 3GPP standard where their need to be an APN defined to handle data traffic.

Inmarsat will offer three standard APN nodes on the ground that can be parsing the traffic – but as an Inmarsat direct reseller will the reseller need to offer own APN locations also named an Inmarsat POP.

Inmarsat Operator POP

The operator can implement one or more POP environments that offer IP handling + data routing including VPN services + Value added services like tracking, WAN acceleration etc.

Our POP environment handle basically any form of satellite as well as standard ground services including 4G/LTE services.

Inmarsat Radius Authentication

Radius servers handle Inmarsat terminal authentication, IP assignments based on integrated IPAM functionality, terminal specific firewall services, advanced routing as well as any VAS functionality – and all in a fully redundant setup.

Let us be your satellite POP Partner - we have done POP implementation across the biggest installations and do at the same time offer the markets most inexpensive POP for around
10000 EUR.
A POP including redundant Juniper firewalls - redundant radius server, routing, BGP peering, installation, hardware, testing - including travel expenses.

UNIVERSAL SATELITTE DATA POP ENVIRONMENT THAT HANDLE INMARSAT BGAN, FBB, SBB, GSPS, LINK, M2M, GX, IRIDIUM CERTUS, THURAYA IP, INTELSAT, VIASAT VSAT, 4G AND LTE AUTHENTICATION, ROUTING AND SECURITY.

Inmarsat APN World Wide

Establishment of Inmarsat Data POP environments in New York, Hong Kong, Amsterdam or Sydney – Handling of Authentication, IP assignment, Routing, VPN connectivity. Highly Redundant with BGP Failover  in all directions.

We deliver a complete POP

You as an operator select own POP hosting location and following do we deliver all needed hardware, installation, configuration and Inmarsat end to end testing – This is the most common Operator POP setup all done in the same hosting location as where Inmarsat MMP are located.

We support your POP Building

If you want to build and operate your own POP then do we offer the needed support in selecting hardware, manage initial configurations as well as support in getting all integrated as well as tested based on Inmarsat delivered test cases.

Build a Shared POP

Building a complete POP environment is relative inexpensive when ordered through us – but the hosting center cost linked to rack location, redundant Internet peering – IP address assignments and similar can be costly linked to the high profile hosting companies like Equinix.. If the operator is willing to coshare their POP environment with other operators then will the cost often be 50% lower or more.

Integrating to own Infrastructure

Operators that want to locate the POP in own hosting location – can get our support in establishing the needed MPLS connections as well as getting the needed BGP failover in place. We will also be able to integrate the POP environment for POP provisioning to Unity or to the operators own satellite backend systems.  This solution have high cost on the remote peering but will often have a much lover Internet cost.
